Cowgirl Basketball player Latishia Jones is a rarity in today’s game. Despite a career waiting her turn at OSU she never went searching for immediate playing time at another school. She stuck with the Cowgirls and eventually was given her chance this year. Scott Wright with the Oklahoman wrote about Jones’ journey.
“I was behind players with a lot of experience,” said Jones, from Leavenworth, Kansas. “It was a fun ride. I wouldn’t change anything about my journey. It was fun. Made a lot of friends.
“It was challenging, because I did want to come in and play at first, but it was all worth it in the end.
