Halftime update: Horned Frogs spoil Cowboys’ lead at end of first half

With less than a minute left in the first half, the TCU football team erased Oklahoma State’s lead.

The Cowboys and Horned Frogs are tied at 17 at halftime in Boone Pickens Stadium.

Max Duggan, TCU’s freshman quarterback, connected with tight end Pro Wells for a 24-yard touchdown with 39 seconds left in the half. Jonathan Song made the point after touchdown to knot the game, despite OSU’s early advantage.

Without Tylan Wallace, the Cowboys have had to adjust their offensive plans. Through the first half, Dillon Stoner has assumed the role of the Cowboys’ primary wide receiver.
