Haleigh Timmer scores 35, propels OSU Cowgirls past Cincinnati

After a pair of losses outside of Gallagher-Iba Arena, there were questions of if this Cowgirls team could handle the heat when they left the comfy confines of their home arena.

Those questions were put to rest on Sunday.

Haleigh Timmer’s hot shooting propelled Oklahoma State to a 91-63 win over the Cincinnati Bearcats in the Queen City.

It was Timmer time from the opening tip, as she started 5 of 5 from beyond the arc and dropped 17 of her career-high 35 points in the first quarter to help the Cowgirls stave off an otherwise sluggish start.
