In the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team’s 62-52 loss to Kansas State on senior night, Gray was keeping the Cowgirls in the game by herself.
A drive down the lane drew the foul as Gray tossed up a high-arching layup. The ball made a big bounce on the rim before rattling in to trim the deficit to 43-42.
It was the closest the Cowgirls (15-14 overall, 6-11 Big 12) came to the lead after conceding it with 6:06 left in the third quarter.
