In a game in which the Cowboys started their third different quarterback of the year, Conner Weigman and the Houston Cougars took control of the game in a 39-17 win in Stillwater.
Houston secured their fifth win of the year and improved to 5-1 and 2-1 in Big 12 Conference play.
After getting injured last game versus Texas Tech, Weigman returned Saturday and was in full form. Weigman was the engine of the Cougars’ offense, leading them to score 36 points in just the three quarters that he played.
Weigman finished his afternoon with 306 passing yards, one rushing and two passing touchdowns.
