This Saturday saw the Cowboys taking on the Wildcats down in Manhattan, Kansas, in what turned out to be a blowout. Going into this game, the Cowboys were ranked No. 9 while the Wildcats were ranked 22 overall.
The Wildcats main quarterback was injured this week, but that did not stop another Wildcat player from stepping up underneath the spotlight.
That player was Will Howard. Howard is the backup quarterback for the Kansas State Wildcats. Howard saw this opportunity on his home field and took it without second thought leading the Wildcats for both a historic loss for OSU of 48-0.
