Fourth quarter dooms Cowboys against No. 18 Baylor

Spencer Sanders darted to the left and danced back to the right, but he couldn’t dodge every man in front of him.

Sanders’ chances of protecting the football vanished as Chidi Ogbonnaya, a Baylor defensive tackle, sacked him. After the ball slipped out of Sanders’ hands and rolled onto the turf behind him, Baylor linebacker Terrel Bernard quickly scooped it and hurried into the end zone.

The matchup hadn’t always been so difficult for Oklahoma State, but late in a tug-of-war fight with the Bears, the Cowboys’ game crumbled in front of their homecoming crowd. Baylor clawed past OSU 45-27 on Saturday night in Boone Pickens Stadium.
