Four-star receiver Loic Fouonji, one of the long-time targets for Oklahoma State at the position in the 2020 recruiting cycle, committed to Texas Tech on Monday afternoon over Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas and others.
The 6-foot-4 pass catcher from Midland, Texas was first offered by the Red Raiders all the way back in February of 2018 — when Kliff Kingsbury was still coach. The new coaching staff reengaged him and hosted him for an official visit in October, which ultimately sealed the deal despite a late visit to Texas last month.
OSU was long considered to be one of the favorites here, but it appears Matt Polk’s commitment in October may have taken his spot in the class.
