On his 19th birthday, October 13th, four-star high school basketball prospect Latrell Allmond made a major announcement — he’s committing to Oklahoma State. The 6-foot-8, 225-pound power forward chose the Cowboys over strong offers from Indiana, Maryland, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Ranked No. 27 nationally in the 2026 class by 247Sports' Composite rankings, Allmond is the sixth-best power forward in the country and the second-best overall player in the state of Maryland. His commitment marks a significant recruiting win for Oklahoma State and head coach Steve Lutz, who is entering just his second year at the helm in Stillwater.
