Four-Star 2019 Guard and Former OSU Target Requests Release from Texas A&M

Well well well, this could get interesting. Four-star Class of 2019 guard prospect Chris Harris Jr., the No. 129 overall prospect in the class, has formally requested a release from his letter of intent at Texas A&M following the university’s decision this week to fire Aggies coach Billy Kennedy.

Harris Jr., a 6-3 shooting guard from South Garland High School in Garland, Texas, was once an OSU target — the Pokes offered way back in September of 2017 — and he has a connection to Stillwater. Harris is one of several members of the “Baggage Claim Boys,” a group that consists of Harris, five-star UK-bound guard Tyrese Maxey … and OSU freshman Isaac Likekele.
