Three years ago, Isaac Stebens and Drew Blake pitched alongside one another at Stillwater High School.
Now, the duo is providing an impact at OSU.
On Sunday’s 4-3 series-clinching win over the Longhorns, the No. 17 Cowboys relied on their bullpen, including Stebens and Blake, to clinch a victory.
Blake entered in the fifth with a runner on first and no outs. He retired the ensuing three Longhorn batters, initiating a strong outing which featured five strikeouts and just one hit through four innings.
That came after two innings two days before in the series-opener.
