A warrant has been issued for the arrest of former Oklahoma State wrestler AJ Ferrari.
In news first reported by Beau Simmons of the Stillwater News Press, Ferrari has been charged with sexual battery. His bond is set at $25,000.
A woman filed an emergency protective order against Ferrari on July 5. Stillwater police responded to a report of sexual assault on July 2.
“The case is currently under investigation by our Criminal Investigation’s Unit,” SPD’s release on the matter said. “SPD is committed to thoroughly investigating these cases. Once the investigation is complete the case will be submitted to the Payne County District Attorney’s Office for consideration of filing charge.
