Another former Cowboy has exited the transfer portal.
Tyreek Smith on Wednesday announced his commitment to SMU via Instagram. Smith played in all 36 of Oklahoma State’s games this past season, making nine starts. He averaged 5.2 points and 4.4 rebounds in 16.4 minutes a game.
Smith had a strong NIT showing, where in three games he averaged 9.7 points and 10.7 rebounds, recording double-doubles in two of those games.
Listed as a 6-foot-9 redshirt junior this past season, Smith came to Stillwater via the transfer portal, transferring in from Texas Tech ahead of the 2021-22 season.
