Keuchel, a left-hander for the Houston Astros, played collegiately at Arkansas but went to Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa, where Walton's son and OSU shortstop Donnie Walton went to high school, as well as former OSU pitcher Michael Freeman, who won the 2015 Big 12 Pitcher of the Year award under Rob Walton's direction.
