Williams held offers from Arkansas, Arkansas State, California, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Missouri, Nebraska, North Texas, Oregon, TCU, Tennessee, Texas State, Texas Tech, SMU, Tulsa and UTSA before ultimately committing to Oklahoma State in April 2020. He then officially signed with the Cowboys in December of last year and enrolled this past January.
