At one point, Donovan Williams thought his season was lost. In April 2019, Williams went down with a devastating knee injury that almost derailed his senior season at Nebraska’s Lincoln North Star High School.
But a torn ACL didn’t stop him from making an impact.
“He didn’t know if he was going to play again after it happened,” Lincoln North Star coach Anthony Quattrocchi said. “He had to go through that phase. But he kind of zeroed in on helping his teammates through the summer and the fall and the first u2153 of our season kind of as an assistant coach.
