Daily Bullets (Nov 13) – Thoughts on the Two-Point Conversion, Tylan’s Season in Context

Something I’m having a hard time discerning is if the two-point-conversion playcall was good or bad.

(Tylan) Wallace was open. Great play call by offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich. Great route by Wallace after going in motion. Not a difficult throw. Nothing like the 24-yard touchdown Corndog had just thrown to Wallace in traffic.

“Just gotta make the throw,” Cornelius said. “It would have been huge. Beating those guys on their home field, that’s what it’s all about. You wait four years for that moment.”

Yurcich got emotional just talking about Corndog.

“What he needs to know is that he’s the one that put us in that situation to be in that play in the first place,” Yurcich said.
