It’s no longer the basketball program that floats the athletic department.

Apparently of the belief that Oklahoma State isn’t committed to building and sustaining an elite basketball program, Brad Underwood quit the Cowboys job after only one season as head coach.

The university’s leadership responded not with a pursuit of established, successful head coaches, but with the convenient and affordable promotion of Underwood assistant Mike Boynton.
