The Oklahoma State Cowgirls collapsed late in a 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday and will face the winner of Indiana–Saint Louis in an elimination game tonight.
The Cowgirls controlled much of the game, took a 5-2 lead into the seventh and were three outs away from securing a win, but that’s when it all fell apart.
Reagan Kramer started the comeback with a one-out single and Bri Ellis followed with a walk. The Cowgirls turned back to starter Ruby Meylan, who had been relieved by RyLee Crandall after four innings.
Meylan surrendered a two-run double to Courtney Day, who advanced to third thanks to a stray throw that skipped past the catcher.
