The Cowgirls have made a positive statement to start the season after winning two straight against top-20 matchups.
In its first match of the spring, the Oklahoma State women’s tennis team defeated No. 4 Michigan, 4-2.
The Cowgirls were victorious against No. 14 Ohio State, 4-1, to finish the weekend.
“I think it’s great,” said coach Chris Young. “We were very excited with the way that the girls played. I think the girls came out against two really good teams, and they each presented different challenges. I think we won different ways.”
The depth of this team will help them throughout the season as the matches become more intense and more important.
