Cowgirls look to rebound as they face Arkansas, Tulsa

The challenges came early for the No. 16 Oklahoma State women’s tennis team when it was challenged by Ohio State in the final of the ITA Kickoff.

The 4-3 defeat was the first this season for the Cowgirls (5-1), serving as a wakeup call before conference play. After losing every first set in singles play, the Cowgirls battled back to force five third sets. The match came down to Lisa Marie Rioux on Court 1, where she would drop the final two games. After the match, Cowgirl coach Chris Young said that the message to his team was to learn from the loss.
