For the first time in the Kenny Gajewski-era of Oklahoma State softball, the Cowgirls will compete in the Women's College World Series.
The Cowgirls defeated Florida State, the defending national champions, 3-2, in the Tallahassee Super Regional on Saturday.
OSU became the first team to punch its ticket to the WCWS, held in Oklahoma City.
After pitching games one and two, senior Samantha Show got the nod from Gajewski from the winner-take-all matchup.
In the first two innings, only No. 4 FSU mustered a hit.
In the top of the third inning, however, the No.
