Adeola Akomolafe was at the line in the closing seconds of the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team’s 72-68 loss to TCU. The Cowgirl’s needed a miss to keep their hopes alive.
They got what they wished for.
Akomolafe’s second free throw catapulted off the rim and bounced to the left side of the floor. The Cowgirls (12-8 overall, 3-5 Big 12) were not ready for the opportunity and the Horned Frog’s took advantage.
In the mad scramble for the ball, the Cowgirls allowed Akomolafe a chance to get her hands on the ball.
