The Oklahoma State women’s golf team faltered late in Puerto Rico in route to its second fourth-place finish of the season in as many tournaments.
In round one the Cowgirls struggled to score despite an under-par finish. The first round saw every team have at least one double-bogey on their card and a total of 53 double-bogeys on cards in the round.
The entire field of the Puerto Rico Classic struggled in the first round. The Cowgirls struggled for a majority of the round, but still found themselves at 3-under par. They were the only team with an under-par in the round.
