Oklahoma State had all of the momentum.
Until it had none.
On Friday, the Cowgirls (4-8-2, 0-5-1) were looking to pick up their first Big 12 Conference win against Kansas State (6-4-3, 1-3-2), a team that was also searching for its first conference victory.
OSU looked poised to pick up that win early; however, it would be the Wildcats who would come out victorious, as the Cowgirls fell 2-1.
K-State’s defense was on its heels early. In the third minute, the Wildcats had no plays developing, so they passed the ball to their goalie, Maddie Sibbing, hoping she could find a reset.
