For the first time in a long time, the Cowgirls will get to spend Homecoming in Stillwater.
Everybody knows that this weekend is homecoming weekend in Stillwater. Thousands flock from around the state to witness “America’s Greatest Homecoming.” But for the most part, everyone comes for football, who battles Texas on Saturday.
However, this Homecoming won’t end on Saturday like usual. Cowgirl soccer has its homecoming and senior day on Sunday as they also will battle Texas. The Texas-filled weekend for Cowgirl soccer and Cowboy football has both teams scheming for a “Texas sweep.” Such an opportunity has wingback Megan Haines excited as she enjoys sharing game weeks with the football team.
