Although Texas Tech’s soccer team outshot Oklahoma State, the Cowgirls needed only one goal to snag a victory.
OSU sneaked past Texas Tech 1-0 on Friday evening in Lubbock.
The Cowgirls (12-2-2 overall, 5-1-0 Big 12) claimed their sixth consecutive match against the Red Raiders.
Marlo Zoller, a Cowgirl junior forward, tallied a goal in the 69th minute. Camy Huddleston, an OSU freshman midfielder, overcame Texas Tech’s defense to connect with Zoller, who drilled the ball to the far post for OSU’s single goal.
Zoller has scored three times this season, but her goal against the Red Raiders (8-6-1, 1-4-1) is her first against a Big 12 team.
