Miranda Reed and the Oklahoma State equestrian team fell to No. 6 SMU 10-8 on Saturday.
The Cowgirls held a slim lead going into the day’s final event but surrendered the final four points of the day, falling 10-8 to SMU on Saturday at the Dallas Equestrian Center.
OSU entered equitation on the flat holding a 7-6 advantage. Despite season-high scores from Kendall Pedigo, Carly Barrick, Jorden Davis and Kayla Lott, the Cowgirls managed only one point in the event, falling 4-1.
The point came from Pedigo, who defeated Lexi Murphy 77-72 to extend the Cowgirls’ lead to two.
