Jordan Niebrugge shot back-to-back 74s after shooting 75 in the first round at the U.S. Collegiate Championship in Georgia. The Cowboys finished in 13th as a team.
The Cowboys finished in 13th, their lowest finish this season, after shooting 21-over at the U.S. Collegiate Championship.
Going into the tournament, OSU coach Alan Bratton said par-3s and the green would be key. The Cowboys shot 17-over on par-3s and finished last in birdies.
“We normally lead the field in birdies,” Bratton said. “And our top players didn’t have very good weeks, and when you do that, it’s hard to finish up where you want to.
