Oklahoma State was picked to finished third in the Big 12 baseball preseason poll, which was released Thursday afternoon.
The Cowboys were picked to finish below the likes of TCU – the conference favorite − and Texas. OSU is coming off a 41-20 campaign in 2023, which featured its first Big 12 regular-season title since 2014, via a three-way split with the Longhorns and West Virginia. However, the program’s College World Series drought extended to seven years following an 0-2 finish as a host in the Stillwater Regional.
OSU returns six positional starters from last season’s roster and will have to navigate its way through a new-look pitching rotation after losing three starters to the MLB Draft.
