Davon Dillard has managed to find time away from his phone, but it has rarely stopped buzzing since Sunday.
Friends and family are excited about Dillard’s trip to Indianapolis, where he and the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team will face Michigan in the NCAA Tournament at 11:15 a.m. Thursday in Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Dillard, who’s from about 2 1/2 hours away in Gary, Indiana, is looking to help the Cowboys (20-12) win an NCAA Tournament game for the first time since 2009.
“At some point, I always put my phone down, just to focus on going to the gym, putting up shots, things like that,” Dillard said before OSU’s practice Tuesday.
