The Oklahoma State men’s tennis team opened its Big 12 season with a loss as TCU dominated 4-0 against the Cowboys on Friday evening at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
After No. 8 OSU dropped the doubles point, it failed to make a comeback in singles.
If there’s one key take-away from Friday’s match against TCU (12-4 overall, 1-0 Big 12), coach Jay Udwadia said it’s an awareness of the high competition level in the Big 12 Conference.
“Everyone can play, you know,” he said. “Big 12 is a rough conference, and if you’re a little off, you’re not playing well, so they’re gonna get you, so you gotta stay on top of your toes.
