Cowboy basketball loses a starter and gains a transfer

In what has been a turbulent couple of weeks for Oklahoma State’s men’s basketball program, more news has hit the program.

Junior 6-foot-10 center Yor Anei will transfer from the program after an up-and-down sophomore season. Anei’s departure will be a hit to the Cowboys’ interior defense as he averaged just under two blocks per game. He averaged 8.1 points per game on 48.4% shooting and 4.7 rebounds.

Anei will be immediately eligible no matter where he goes due to OSU facing a postseason ban in the 2020 season.

With Anei’s raw talent, he could be a hot commodity on the transfer market.
