Could Mike Yurcich return to the Big 12 at Texas?

After one year coaching in his home state, former Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich might be heading back to Big 12 country.

A report from Brett McMurphy of Stadium says Yurcich is the leading candidate for the Texas offensive coordinator job under Tom Herman.

Yurcich left OSU last December to become the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Ohio State, which will play Clemson Saturday in the semifinals of the College Football Playoff.

Yurcich spent six seasons with the Cowboys, where he guided offenses that averaged 38 points and nearly 500 yards of offense per game.
