Bryce Thompson May Be OSU’s Biggest-Named Transfer, but He’s Far from the First

Former five-star phenom Bryce Thompson is headed to Oklahoma State. Mike Boynton got his guy, at least the second time around.

Thompson, the Tulsa native, picked Kansas over a 2020 OSU class headlined by fellow five-star recruit Cade Cunningham and fellow Oklahoma preps star Rondel Walker. After his freshman season in Lawrence was hampered by injury, Thompson decided to rethink his destination and is now the crown jewel of the Cowboys’ 2021 class.

Based on his ranking coming out of high school, Thompson’s set to be the fifth-highest high school prospect to ever lace them up for the Cowboys, as well as being the top-rated in-state product to don the orange and black.
