Browns CB Justin Gilbert Suffers Concussion In Preseason Game

Former Oklahoma State Cowboy and current Cleveland Brown cornerback Justin Gilbert suffered a concussion in the first half of Saturday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Gilbert, who is the only first round pick of the Browns between 2011-2014 that is still on the roster, will be out indefinitely (and this is not his first concussion). Gilbert tallied just 1 interception in 23 games throughout his still young career, with only one pass defended in 9 games last year.

Many figured that Gilbert would shine playing opposite Pro Bowl corner Joe Haden, but it hasn’t worked out for Gilbert in Cleveland so far.
