STILLWATER — Chad Weiberg's days are often full of planning, one meeting after another, papers scattered here and there.
That staff-wide level of preparation has seemed to pay off for the Oklahoma State athletic department after it has embarked on selling beer at Boone Pickens Stadium this season. Weiberg, OSU's deputy athletic director, said the effort the university put forward in advance — talking to other Big 12 beer-sellers Texas and West Virginia, communicating with Oklahoma's Alcohol Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission, and other acts of due diligence — has led to few if any surprises in the process through this football season's first five home games.
