Yet another breakout on the AAU circuit has earned Booker T. Washington product Bryce Thompson yet another bump in the recruiting rankings.
Thompson, the 6-foot-5 combo guard who has been on Mike Boynton’s radar since 1887, earned five-star status on Wednesday when 247Sports updated its recruiting rankings for the 2020 classification. He is now the No. 19 player in the class, No. 4 player at his position, and No. 1 in the state (by a wide margin), jumping 70 spots in the national rankings since the last update.
He remains a four-star in the 247Sports composite, which aggregates all recruiting services’ rankings of him.
