For the last time in Big 12 history, the Red River Rivalry was the game of the week in the conference — maybe.
Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark wasn’t even in attendance at the Cotton Bowl, while SEC commissioner Greg Sankey was. Maybe Yormark just got distracted by something fried and delicious on his way through the fair. Either way, unless another conference team steps up in a big way, Yormark might be forced to attend an OU-Texas game with the Big 12 title on the line in December.
