OKLAHOMA CITY—It has been two days, and the Bedlam baseball series opener has no victor.
The Oklahoma State baseball team led Oklahoma 5-2 through 4 1/2 innings Friday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in the series opener that had already been postponed from Thursday. About 4:30 p.m., the top of the fifth inning finished, but with lightning in the arena, the game was delayed. About five and a half hours later, the game was finally postponed to 4:35 p.m. Saturday, where the game will resume in the bottom of the fifth inning.
The series’ second game will be after the first, and there will be no game three of the Bedlam series.
