STILLWATER — Arizona State linebacker Tate Romney is set to be one of the Cowboys’ first visitors over the weekend, per a report from 247Sports beat writer McClain Baxley.
247Sports ranks him 486th overall, but 32nd among linebackers in the portal.
Romney recorded 13 total tackles, forced a fumble and broke up a pass this season across 10 games for the Sun Devils. His best day was easily his game against Utah when he recorded five tackles.
The 6-2, 225-pounder hasn’t started a game since doing so 11 times in 2023. That season he finished fourth in tackles (52), including four for loss and a sack.
