Akron Transfer Receiver Israel Polk Commits to Oklahoma State

The Cowboys are adding a productive receiver from the MAC.

Israel Polk was among the first portal players to announce interest from Oklahoma State when the portal opened Friday, and on Tuesday, he took to Twitter to announce he’ll be a Cowboy.

Listed at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, Polk has spent the past two seasons at Akron after starting his college career in 2023 at Pitt. He should have two years of eligibility remaining.

With the Zips this past season, Polk caught 33 passes for 525 yards and a team-best eight touchdowns. He was a Second Team All-MAC selection.
