AJ Ferrari has been named Amateur Wrestling News Rookie of the Year.
Ferrari, who won an NCAA title this year as a true freshman at 197 pounds let the wrestling world on fire with his interviews and celebrations and has developed quite the cult following this season.
Fellow Cowboy freshmen Trevor Mastrogiovanni (125) and Dustin Plott (174) were also named to the All-American Rookie team.
