Oklahoma State's Hassan Abdi won his first conference title in the 10,000-meter run Friday at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in Lawrence, Kansas.
Abdi recorded a time of 29:21.39 to notch the fastest time ever at Rock Chalk Park facility.
Sylvester Barus also earned all-conference honors after finishing in sixth place in the 10k run. The Cowboys earned 13 points from the event thanks to a pair of top-10 finishes.
The track teams also competed in the javelin throw and hammer throw Friday. Megan Honas was the only other OSU athlete to earn all-conference honors after finishing eighth in the javelin throw.
