A look at some of the winter sports seniors whose careers were cut short

Oklahoma State winter sports seniors whose seasons were ended early because of the COVID-19 pandemic will have to hang up their college jerseys after a recent NCAA decision.

In an announcement on March 30, the NCAA determined that only spring sport athletes will be granted another year of eligibility, which ends winter sports athletes’ college careers.

The OSU basketball senior class has been through it all in its time in Stillwater. Four of the six Cowboy seniors have gone through two head coaches, a teammate’s death, a team with five walk-ons and an FBI probe. Then they couldn’t finish their final season in the Cowboy uniform because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
