After missing the previous two games with an ankle injury, Spencer Sanders returned to the lineup against Iowa State and accounted for 306 yards of total offense. Sanders threw for 235 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown. He seemed unbothered by his ankle and was making big plays with his legs and his arm.
