The Cowboys landing in Wade Taylor’s top five is nearly two years in the making.
Taylor, a 2021 point guard from Lancaster, Texas, included OSU in his top five Monday along with Iowa State, Texas A&M, SMU and Virginia Tech. Mike Boynton and OSU offered Taylor back in 2018, the start of Taylor’s sophomore year of high school.

At Lancaster High School, Taylor was part of a deadly backcourt alongside 2020 OSU offer Mike Miles, who signed with TCU.
