A few former NFL players with state ties were added to the player pool for the XFL Draft on Wednesday and Thursday.
Tulsa native Robert Meachem, who played collegiately at Tennessee before spending eight years in the NFL, was on Wednesday’s list of player additions. The 35-year-old receiver last played in the NFL in 2014, but played in an indoor league for the Richmond Roughriders last year.
Offensive tackle Michael Bowie, a Sand Springs native who played four NFL seasons, was added to the pool Wednesday. He played parts of his college career at Oklahoma State and Northeastern State.
