NORMAN — Two dozen or so reporters formed a semi-circle around Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley after practice Monday as speculation grew about a possible starting quarterback announcement. That news didn’t come, and neither did a resolution to the less glamorous center competition.
“Nobody has truly separated themselves,” offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh said. “We have some more practices to figure it out.”
Either redshirt senior Jonathan Alvarez or redshirt freshman Creed Humphrey will snap the ball to either Kyler Murray or Austin Kendall on OU's first series of 2018.
