Why do you think some people have been critical of Sam Ehlinger after a breakout 2018 season?
Carlton: It's actually because he had a breakout 2018 season. People weren't targeting Shane Buechele or Jerrod Heard or Tyrone Swoopes or ... you get the idea. But Sam Ehlinger is the first face-of-the-program quarterback at Texas since Colt McCoy. It goes with the territory, just like magazine covers and scores of reporters surrounding him at media days.
